Mr. Jimmy Green Royal, age 73 of Thomaston, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mr. Royal was born on April 28, 1950, in Upson County, Georgia, to the late Franklin Green Royal and the late Frances Shurley Royal.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Royal, and sister, Patricia Matthews.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Patricia Royal of Thomaston, one nephew, special cousins, Bobby (Lynn) Ellington of Thomaston, and Lynn Sprinkle Vickers of Pike County.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, from Southview Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
