Mr. Jimmy Coulton Stripling, age 83, of Thomaston, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Stripling was born on January 5, 1941, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late J.C. Stripling and the late Eddie Sue Wynn Stripling.  He worked as a mechanic, worked for Colonial Bread Company for over 20 years and was known as the "Bread Man", and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Baldree, and Nadine Hooks.

Survivors include his daughters, Tina (Dwight) Smith, Ginger (Jackie) Smith; grandchildren, Brandy (Jimmy) Hansen, Jimmy (Samantha) Williamson, Corey Thomas; great-grandchildren, Brody Yates, Brynlee Yates, and David Williamson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from Fellowship Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. from Coggins Funeral Home.
