Mrs. Jolly Mae Knight Stewart, age 83, of Thomaston GA, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Stewart was born on September 2, 1939, in Milan GA, to the late Benjamin Knight and the late Lucille Taylor Knight. She worked for the William Carter Company for 36 years and later worked for Child Care Connection for 10 years. Mr. Stewart was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Albert Franklin Stewart.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Angela (Richard) Weatherford of Thomaston GA; sons, Mr. Donald (Veronica) Stewart of Thomaston GA, Mr.   James Michael Stewart of Thomaston GA, Mr. Terry (Karen) Stewart of Perry GA, and Mr. David Lee Stewart of Thomaston GA; sisters, Mrs. Christine Wilder of Jacksonville FL, Mrs. Linia Gray of Griffin GA, Mrs. Janette Chandler of Williamson GA, Mrs. Faye (Ronald) Hammock of Thomaston GA, Mrs. Wanda (Paul) Clark of Yatesville GA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from East Thomaston Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at East Thomaston Baptist Church on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
