Mr. Joseph Charles Hungate age 90 of Snellville Ga, died Sunday February 15, 2026, at Gateway Gardens Assisted Living in Winder Ga.

Mr. Hungate was born on December 22, 1935, in Iowa to the late Leland Hungate and the late Margaret Hungate. He was formerly employed with GE where he worked as an Electronic Technician until his retirement. Mr. Hungate served his country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his baby girl, brothers David Hungate, Edgar Hungate.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Myrna Hungate, son Paul (Shanna Rogers) Hungate, sister Roma Chantrill, Lela (Robert) Stottlemyer, grandchildren Charlie Hungate, William Hungate, Leah Hungate.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday February 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Sunday February 22, 2026, from 1-2 p.m.
