Mrs. Katherine Lee Williams Salter age 79 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Friday July 22, 2022 at Sunny Grove Assisted Living.

Mrs. Salter was born on December 4, 1942 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Edgar Williams and the late Katherine White Williams. She was employed with Dr. Bramlett & Dr. Warnock as an LPN for many years. Mrs. Salter was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Billie Salter. She loved her family especially her two great grandchildren Jake & Kate Gassett.

Survivors include her son Mr. Ray (Mary) Gassett of Thomaston Ga, brothers Mr. Johnny (Kathy) Lamar Williams of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Ricky Williams of Jackson Ga, sister Mrs. Wanda Jean Burt of Thomaston Ga, grandson Mr. Jason (Anna) Gassett of Thomaston Ga, great grandchildren Jake Gassett & Kate Gassett of Thomaston Ga.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday July 25, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
