Mrs. Kathy Cherie Alsobrook Pitts, age 65 of Meansville, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in Thomaston.

Mrs. Pitts was born on January 14, 1959, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late James Freeman Alsobrook, and the late Mamie Beatrice Speer Alsobrook.  She was a member of Pritchett Memorial Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pitts, son, Danny Brigman, brother, Ray Neal Alsobrook, Jimmy Alsobrook, and sister, Sandra Wood.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Lunsford of Meansville, and grandchildren, Brian House Jr., Hailey Brigman, and Remington Martin.

Due to an unfortunate house fire on August 27, 2024, the Pitts family has been residing at the local Days Inn Hotel, and they are asking that any memorials be donated to Coggins Funeral Home to help with cremation expenses.

Mrs. Pitts was cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
