Leslie
Boyt
Jul 22, 1969 — Nov 7, 2024
Meanville
Leslie Arnold Boyt passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. Public Services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Northridge Church, immediately followed by a private graveside burial with family.
A lifelong Thomaston resident, Leslie's beautiful smile welcomed all. She enjoyed her morning coffee from her front porch swing, she made beaded necklaces and bracelets that sold across the country, and rejoiced in the Lord through song. Leslie and her daughters would hover around the piano, singing joyful noises that floated to heaven and surely caused angels to weep.
Leslie served as a disciple of Jesus on earth, who spent her life sharing God's word. Few are truly worthy of the label 'saint'; Leslie Boyt was a saint. Immovably devoted to her faith, Leslie was a conduit to Jesus' healing, with hundreds as a testament to His grace and salvation.
On par with her love of Jesus was that for her family: She is survived by her husband, Greg Boyt, and her four daughters: Hailey Stone (Bryan), Hannah Harrison (Jesse), Janie Clopton (Jonathan), and Jordan Boyt. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Arnold, her siblings, Andrew Arnold and Nancy Coogler, and seven grandchildren. Leslie was a best friend to them all.
Leslie's legacy is boundless. When miracles were needed, Leslie would stir the Lord to action. Whether it be to remit cancer, heal marriages, or bear children, Leslie's unwavering faith and prayers provided hope for those in desperate need. She raised her girls to defeat adversity and trust in the Lord. She is undoubtedly sitting snuggly to Jesus, smiling down at a life's good accomplishments and proud that her husband and girls are firmly in God's graces.
