Mrs. Linda Sue Johnson Hicks age 71 of Thomaston Ga, died Monday November 24, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Hicks was born on September 1, 1954, in Brunswick, Georgia, to the late John Paul Johnson and the late Montine Selph Johnson.  She worked as a Receptionist at the Public Defender's Office.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Wren "Rick" Hicks, and brother, Aubrey Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters, Kayla Hicks of Thomaston, Cassie Youngblood of Thomaston, sons, Travis (Brigit) Hicks of Howard, Ohio, Brent Youngblood of Thomaston, sisters-in-laws, Sybil (Jim) Warren of Siler City, North Carolina, Becky (Harold) Vess of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Debbie (David) Mariley of Siler City, North Carolina, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous cousins and friends also survive

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
