Marcia Annette Nelson-Starnes born in Atlanta, GA on August 15, 1963. A resident of Clayton County she died on October 2, 2023 at the age of 60. Marcia is survived by her daughter Lisa Owenby and spouse Randy Owenby of Thomaston, GA,  2 sons Timothy Nelson Jr. of Milwaukie, WI and Brandon Starnes of Forest Park, GA. She leaves behind two granddaughters Megan and Baylee, three grandsons Austin, Eddie, and Erik and two great grandsons Jeremiah Jr. and Bryson. Marcia was preceded in death by her daughter Sonya Nelson, husband Matthew Starnes, and son Steve Nelson.

Though my mother and brother will both be truly missed by all, we will forever carry them in our hearts. Our family can rest easy knowing they are finally at peace.
