Mrs. Margaret Jones Sandefur, age 71, of Thomaston, died Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Sandefur was born on August 22, 1951, in Lexington, MS. to the late Jack Hurbert Jones and the late Martha Shepherd Kirkwood.  She worked as an Office Administrator at McIntosh Trail until retirement.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Sandefur of Thomaston, son, Mark Sandefur of Kennesaw, sister, Mary Jane Wiggins of Grenada, MS. grandchildren, Kirby and Rhianna Sandefur, mother of grandchildren, Amy Faulds Sandefur.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.  Those desiring may make memorials to St. Jude Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org .
