Mrs. Martha June Turner Barfield, age 82, of Thomaston, died Monday October 31, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Barfield was born on January 28, 1940 in Thomaston, to the late Floyd Turner, and the late Mattie Lee Morris Turner.  She worked for Martha Mills in the spinning room for twenty plus years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen Barfield, sons, Luther Ray White, Charles Keith White, and sister, Betty T. Albritton.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Tommy) Burkett of Thomaston, Ann Barfield of Thomaston, sons, Ralph Allen (Jennifer) Barfield Jr. of Clemson, South Carolina, Robert (Renee) Barfield of Thomaston, Christopher Allen Barfield of Griffin, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
