Mrs. Mary Kathryn Bess Moore, age 84, of Thomaston, died Sunday, April 10, 2022. at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Moore was born on August 6, 1937, in Bonifay, Florida, to the late J.D. Bess and the late Thelma Kirkland Bess.  She worked as a seamstress and was a mentor and teacher of the Cherokee Rose Quilters Guild.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Raymer, and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, James Moore of Thomaston, son, Michael (Sonia Conville) Moore of Thomaston, and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
