Robert Matthew Marsh II age 38 of Butler Ga, died Thursday December 7, 2023 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Matthew was born on October 8, 1985 in Thomaston Ga, to Patsy Smith Marsh and the late Robbie Marsh. He was a 2004 graduate of Upson-Lee High School and owned and operated Marsh Clearing and Excavation. Matthew was a member of Bethel Church in Butler Ga. He loved the outdoors especially duck hunting.

Survivors include his wife Maddie Butterfield Marsh of Butler Ga, son Jaxton Marsh of Butler Ga, mother Patsy Smith Marsh of Thomaston Ga, brothers Stephen (Kristin) Marsh of Thomaston Ga, Destin (Jorden) Marsh of Thomaston Ga, sisters Nicole (Michael) Weldon Jr. of Barnesville Ga, Lacy (Jody) Salter of Meansville Ga, Kelly (Eric Smith) Rivera  of Thomaston Ga.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday December 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Church in Butler Ga. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bethel Church on Sunday December 10, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
