Mrs. Nell Jordan, age 87, of Thomaston GA, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jordan was born on July 19, 1934, in Upson County, to the late  Bill Savage and Daisy Rodgers Savage.  She retired from the William Carter Company and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lucius R. Jordan; step-son, Vernon Jordan; sister, Louise Singletary; and grandson Jeff Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters, Rachel Kassack of Thomaston, Larie (Ken) Whaley of Thomaston, and Sharon (Hank) Phillips of Hayesville, NC; sons, David (Damaris) Jordan of Williamson, Marty Jordan of Thomaston, and Joe (Michelle) Jordan of Thomaston; step-son, Buddy Jordan of Thomaston;   grandchildren, Pam Johnson, Brian Baker, Brett Baker, Pruitt Wilder, Kevin Wilder, Brent Martin, Brian Martin, Andrew McDaniel, Taylor Stroud, Mandy VanHouten, and Candy Hudson; step grandchildren, Donna Martin, Susan White, Danny Jordan, Lisa Kallis, Veronica Hubble, and Angel Dedmon; 34 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
