Mr. Norman Sinclair Morris age 90 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Sunday April 17, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Morris was born on May 23, 1931, in Georgia, to the late Roy Morris and the late Helen Brown Morris.  He was active in many civic and business organizations, including 36 years on the Upson County Hospital Board and the Boy Scouts, he was a mentor to many.  Norman started in 1953 as a Martha Mills Quality Control Lab Technician while a co-op student at Auburn University.  He retired in July of 1989 as a General Manager.  He graduated from R.E. Lee Institute in 1948 and from Auburn University in 1958.  Mr. Morris was a member of The Thomaston First Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Rita Sanders Morris, and second wife, Mary Joan "Jo" Brubaker Morris.

Survived by his son, Patrick Morris of Thomaston, sister-in-law, Angie (Wayne) Wilson of Butler, niece, Elisa Bloodworth, nephews, Sam (Evelyn) Merchant, John (Sharon) Merchant, and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.at Coggins Funeral Home.
