Mr. Leonard Paul Garrett Jr., age 77 of Meansville Ga, passed away Tuesday April 12, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Garrett was born on December 6, 1944 in Upson County, to the late Leonard Paul Garrett, and the late Mildred Eunice Helms Garrett.  He worked for GA DOT as the Right of Way Specialist for 30 plus years, after retirement he worked for Muscogee County Government for 10 years.  Mr. Paul served his country in The US Air Force during Vietnam, was a member of the Morning Star #27 Masonic Lodge and attended Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Garrett.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Brigman Garrett of Meansville, daughter, Michelle (Dan) Garland of Florida, Erin (Chris Pellerin) Garrett of Zebulon, Kayla (Mary) English of Duluth, Karen (Wayne) Puckett of Thomaston, Kelly (David) Montgomery of Columbus, son, David (Kacie) English of Meansville, sister, Ann Bray of Thomaston, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 3:00 p.m-4:00 p.m at Coggins Funeral Home.
