Mrs. Penny Denice Jarrell Sorrells, age 64 of Thomaston, died Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Sorrells was born on January 17, 1959, in Thomaston, Georgia, to Stanley Jackson Jarrell and the late Joan Carol Howe.  She worked at Ace Cleaners and attended Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her father, Jack Jarrell of Thomaston, husband, Kenneth Allen Sorrells of Thomaston, daughter, Daphine Hutcheson of Thomaston, son, Paul (Cheryl) Hutcheson of Warner Robbins, sister Debora (Donnie) Womble of Thomaston, grandchildren, Amanda, Chelsie, Adam, and Jade.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
