Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Smith Montgomery, age 61, formerly of Thomaston, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Montgomery was born on October 17, 1961, in Thomaston GA, to Glenda Smith Rogers and the late Jackie Howell. She was employed with Wal-Mart where she worked for many years and later worked at Coggins Funeral Home. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her husband, Kim Montgomery.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. J. Brynn (Jamie) Gibson of Charleston SC; sons, Mr. Geoffery B. Dean of Yatesville GA; Mr. Nick (Kelly) Montgomery; mother, Mrs. Glenda Smith Rogers of Thomaston GA; step-mother, Mrs. Betty Howell of Thomaston GA;  sisters, Mrs. Cindy (Wade) Marshall, Mrs. Leisa Howell (James) Collins, Mrs. Sharon (Lee) Oxford, Sheree (Carl) Swails, Angie Rogers; grandchildren, Tanner Gibson, Larsen Dean, Deaton Dean, Willow Dean, Beau Dean, Tristan Gibson, Loretta Montgomery, Emily Montgomery, and Riley Montgomery; great grandchild, Delilah Gibson.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
