Mr. Richard Leonard Bevel age 78 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday July 20, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Bevel was born on December 27, 1944, in Thomaston Ga, to the late George Bevel and the late Eunice Martin Bevel. He worked as a chief electrician for Florida Power and Light for many years. Mr. Bevel served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Horace Bevel.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Suzanne Bevel of Thomaston Ga, son Mr. Michael Bevel of St. Louis Mo, sisters Mrs. Bonnie (Steve) Maddox of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Paula King of Thomaston Ga, grandchild Haley Bevel of Houschton Ga.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.
