Mr. Robert Edgar Adams, age 73, of Williamson GA, died Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, in Newnan GA.

Mr. Adams was born on January 21, 1949, in Upson County to the late Robert Eschol Adams and the late Venice Matthews Adams.  He retired from Southland Propane as a delivery driver and was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mark D. Adams.

Survivors include his daughters, Misty (Mike) Chapman of Williamson, Taylor Adams of Sharpsburg, brother, Gary L. (Kathy Sue) Adams of Thomaston, sisters, Sara Arrington Williams of Thomaston, Cathy (Gary) Jones of Thomaston, grandchildren, Nikki Lumley, Brooke Jones, great-grandchild, Jack Jones, special friends, Rosalyn Cooper, Nathan, Brandon, and Jason Bridges.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday January 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
