Mr. Ronald Clyde Stagg, age 79 of Upson County, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026. just days after celebrating his birthday.  He was born on February 17, 1947.

A lifelong resident of Upson County, Ronald found great joy in the simple and meaningful things in life.  He loved spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, and caring for his beloved dogs.  His appreciation for nature was evident to all who knew him.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Donald Stagg Sr. and Bessie Markins Stagg, and by his brother, Robert Donald Stagg Jr.

He is survived by his partner, Tommy mask, his nieces, Shannon (Dean) Pinnell, Mellissa (Tom) Land, and Angel Hanely, his nephew, Johnny (Marie) Stagg, and several great-nieces and great-nephews will cherish his memory.

Ronald will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.  His memory will live on in the gardens he nurtured, the animals he loved, and the hearts of those he leaves behind.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. from Coggins Funeral Home.
