Mr. Russell Kelly Blount, age 60, of Thomaston, died Saturday, December 17, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Blount was born on March 14, 1962, in Thomaston, to the late John Will Blount Jr. and the late Brenda Phillips Blount.  He worked for a metal prefabrication company and attended Mountain View Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stan Blount.

Survivors include his wife, Toiee Carter Blount of Thomaston; daughters, Kaylyn Blount, Jennifer Lee, and Kelly Blount; God daughter, Brooke Marshall; son, Markus Levi Blount; brothers, Bill (Gina) Blount and Marc (Brandie) Blount; grandchild, Blade Blount; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private graveside service.
