Mrs. Shelia Johnson Wilson age 66, of Thomaston, died Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Wilson was born on January 28, 1957, in Thomaston, to the late Eddie Guy Johnson Sr. and the late Sarah Frances Briscoe Johnson.  She retired from Tender Tech Day Care after 13 years and was a member of Neal Baptist Church in Molena.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Jon) Smith of Thomaston, Sarah (Bryan Teal) Rowe of Thomaston, Ashley Wilson of LaGrange, son, Brian (Karen) Gresham of Molena, sister-in-law, Kathy Johnson, grandchildren, Paige, Ty, Kaylin, Aeris, Jocelyn, Raelynn, Rosalee, Noah, Bryan, Mahkaelynn, Brynlee, Riley, and great-grandchild, Cooper. grand fur babies, Olive Piper, Ollie, Fatboy, Felix, Bambi, Wink, Musby, Ember, Kole, Flint, Rock, and River.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.

The family has asked those who are in attendance to wear blue to honor their mother and her favorite color.
