Mrs. Shirley Joe Bell Fifield, age 86, died Sunday, August 22, 2021, at her daughters residence.

Mrs. Fifield was born on August 6, 1935, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Virgil Lee Bell Sr. and the late Thelma Lucille McMaree Bell.  She worked for the AT&T Telephone Company and was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Fifield, brother, Carlos R. Bell, and sister, Wanda Bell Hammock.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lynne (Billy III) Gaylor of Jackson, son, Harold (Darlene) Harrison Jr. of Newnan, brother, Theron Delaney (Melissa) Bell of Buckhead, sister, Dotty J. Bell of LaGrange, seven granchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will held on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
