Rev. James L. "Teddy" Hardeman age 77 of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday June 21, 2023, at Harborview Health and Rehab.

Mr. Hardeman was born on August 4, 1945, in Thomaston, to the late James Leonard Hardeman Sr. and the late Robbie Short Hardeman.  He worked at Wal-Mart as a team leader and was a member of Hebron Congregational Christian Church where he served as Pastor for many years.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, James Andrew Hardeman.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Johnson Hardeman of Thomaston, daughters, Kim (Bobby) Tucker of Thomaston, Pam (David) Jordan of Waycross, Paula Hardeman of Thomaston, son Tim (Rachel) Hardeman of Thomaston, sisters, Barbara (Laymon) Humphries of Brunswick, Andrea (Randy) Saylor of Thomaston, grandchildren, Vanessa Harp, Jace Hardeman, Ava Hardeman, great-grandchild, Theo Hardeman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church.
