Teresa
Camino
May 23, 1950 — Apr 15, 2026
With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Teresa Nieves Camino, who left this world peacefully on April 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Teresa was born on May 23, 1950, in Oriente Cuba, and from the very beginning, she lived with extraordinary kindness, strength, and grace. She devoted her life to her family, teaching her children the meaning of unconditional love, hard work, and compassion through both her words and quiet actions.
She had a gift for making everyone feel seen and valued—a gentle smile, a delicious meal, a listening ear. Her laughter filled our home, her wisdom guided us, and her love shaped who we are. Teresa devoted her life to her family and raising her two daughters. Once they were older, she went back to school and earned her high school diploma and took college courses. In 1998 she moved to Thomaston GA and started working for TLC Lawn Care from where she retired. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, the beach, spending time with her family and a good glass of red wine.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Maribel Camino and Tessy Llaurado; sons-in-law, Jose Llaurado and Mark Wise; sister Maritza Rebustillo; and brother, Carlos Rodriguez; many nieces and nephews; who will carry her love in their hearts forever.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Leoncio and Mariola Rodriguez; her brothers, Leoncito Rodriguez, Jose' Antonio Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez and Oscar Rodriguez; and her sister, Beatriz Rodriguez.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday April 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church.
Her presence will be dearly missed, but her light will never fade. We find comfort knowing she now rests peacefully, watching over us with the same love she gave every day of her life.
