Mr. Terry James McCollum, age 61, of Thomaston Ga., died Friday, January 28, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. McCollum was born on April 23, 1960 in Lineville Al., to Gwen McCollum and the late Annie Pearl Yarbrough McCollum. He was a graduate of Lineville High School. Mr. McCollum was formerly employed with Southern Natural Gas, Ferrellgas, and was currently employed with the Upson County Road Department. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. McCollum was an avid Alabama fan.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Tanya McKinley McCollum of Thomaston Ga., daughters Mrs. Nichole (Taylor) Matthews of Thomaston Ga., Mrs. Casey (Ryan) Fulghum of Meansville Ga., father Mr. Gwen McCollum of Lineville Al., brothers Mr. Dale (Wanda) McCollum of Lineville Al., Mr. Sonny (Anita) McCollum of Lineville Al., sisters Mrs. Cindy (Gary) Clark of Wadley Al., Mrs. Cathy (Donny) Camp of Lineville Al., grandchildren Ella Kate Matthews, Avery Claire Matthews, Cooper Fulghum, and Raegan Fulghum.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
