Mr. Todd Hanely, age 54, of Yatesville, died Monday June 26, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Hanely was born on February 24, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio to the late George Hanely and Elaine Everhardt Hanely.  He worked as an engineer and attended Yatesville Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Todd was the all around best person. He most certainly hid his wings while here on earth! He fought a vigilant fight to stay with his wife, Angel, his fur puppy Rusty and his fur kitty Sammie. He is walking in heaven with the Lord, whom he loved and served faithfully. He is healed. Todd was an adoring son, husband, father, brother, and friend. He loved like no toher! He loved angel and was her perfect partner through sickness and health. Together they were the example of unconditional love. Todd was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Braves fan. Many good times were spent watching games with family and doing some armchair coaching. He enjoyed fishing and golfing with friends. His smile, strength, love and hugs will be missed greatly but never forgotten.

Survivors include his wife, Angel Stagg Hanely,  mother, Elaine Hanely, daughter, Jeanette (Andrew Joseph) Decker, son, David Ritch Jr., brothers, Chad (Jill) Hanely, Eric (Wendy) Hanely, grandchildren, Ashton Ritch, Quint Proveaux, Parker and Pierce Proveaux, Andrew Decker, and Eva Decker.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from Yatesville Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at  Yatesville Baptist Church.
