Mr. Walter McDaniel Sr., age 77, of Thomaston, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Walter was a proud father, loving grandfather, great-grandfather, and a cherished member of the Thomaston community.  He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Belinda McDaniel.  He is survived by his daughter, Sandy McDaniel; his sons, Walter McDaniel Jr., and Anthony McDaniel and his wife, Courtney.

Walter's legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Kayla and Ajaiche, daughters of his late daughter Belinda; Destiny, Savannah, and Anthony, children of Anthony and Courtney; and Tristan, Tyleah, and Grace, children of Walter Jr.; as well as three great-grandchildren. Walter Sr. is also survived by his loving brothers and sister, along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved. He cherished the time spent with his extended family and the joy they brought into his life.  Walter Sr. will be remembered for his generous heart, strong spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
