Mr. William "Billy" Franklin age 82 of Thomaston Ga, died Friday April 28, 2023 at West Georgia Hospice in Lagrange Ga.

Mr. Franklin was born on April 27, 1941 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Charlie Will Franklin and the late Virginia Lynch Franklin. He worked in the construction business for Williams & Associates for many years and was a member of The Rock Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Carole Ann Blount Franklin and sister Alice Kapise.

Survivors include his daughters Mrs. Rhonda (Mike) Brown of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Lori (Brett) Lee of Pinehurst N.C., Mrs. Ginger (David) Rider of Lagrange Ga, son Mr. Andy (Kimberly) Franklin of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Francis Hawkins of Galveston Tx, grandchildren Michelle, Palmer, Nick, Joseph, Andria, Dusty and Matt, 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Upson County Humane Society or Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in Lagrange Ga.

It was Mr. Franklin's wishes to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
