Mr. William "Bill" Neal Ross, age 93, of Beulaville NC, formerly of Thomaston GA, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Ecu Duplin Hospital.

Mr. Ross was born on February 15, 1931, in Pelham, GA, to the late George Washington Ross, and the late Clyde Tomberlin Ross.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked at Robins Air Force Base.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie Doreck Ross; son, William Neal Ross Jr.; sister, Jewell Ross Jones, James "Buddy" Jones; sister, Elizabeth Ross Holmes, Leon Holmes; sister, Linda Ross Hewitt, James Hewitt; brother-in-law, Arthur "Art" Brown; sister, Betty Ross Heard, Lester Heard; nephews, Steve Holmes and Michael Burks and son-in-law, Perry "Rocky" Holcomb Jr.

Survivors include his companion, Marian Jones of  Carthage, NC; daughter, Patricia Ross Holcomb of Richlands, NC; brother, Ralph Ross of Thomaston; sister, Esther Brown of Abilene, TX; grandchildren, Natalie (Darrick) Venters of Jacksonville, NC; Perry Holcomb III of Richlands, NC; great grandchildren, Virgil William Witt of Richlands, NC, Ariyah and Lylah Venters of Jacksonville, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
