Mr. Darrell Lee Gresham Sr. age 79 of Thomaston Ga, died March 18, 2014 at The Medical Center of Central Ga. Mr. Gresham was born on August 19, 1934 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Wylie Pierce Gresham and Evelyn Dobbs Gaddy. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 23 years during the Viet Nam War and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars. Mr. Gresham was formerly employed with the City of Thomaston where he worked as a Guard. Mr. Gresham is preceeded in death by his wife Mildred Louise Collins Gresham; daughter Brenda Watkins Gresham; and sons Bobby Wayne Gresham, James Richard Gresham, and Kenneth Doyle Gresham. Survivors include his daughters Mrs. Chrystal (Chuck) Alexander of Yatesville Ga, Mrs. Gail Alnawfleh of Griffin Ga, son Mr. Darrell (Kathy) Gresham of Zebulon Ga, sister Mrs. Linda Rhodes of Augusta Ga. 19 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Friday March 21, 2014 from 12-2 p.m.
