Ms. Jennie Denise Philpott age 61 of Thomaston Ga, died Friday August 15, 2014 at her residence. Ms. Philpott was born on March 17, 1953 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Jessie Frank and Helen Philpott. She was formerly employed with Wal-Mart where she worked as a sales clerk for 12 years and later worked at Providence Health and Rehab. Ms. Philpott was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother Mr. Sonny (Jane) Philpott of Columbus Ga, sister Mrs. Cindy (Chet) Wheless of Thomaston Ga, nieces Kate Philpott, Ashley (John) Wells, Claire Wheless, nephew Drew Philpott, great niece Kate Wells, great nephew Jackson Wells. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday August 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens.
